Jason Eddy Poetry

The Tune of the Antients

From deep within the misty night,
He wandered 'neath the twinkling light,
The Master's work within his sight,
As he then sang the Antient's tune.

"The Seekers pass from earthly plight,
When grip and word are given right,
Where Earth to Heaven is the height,
And from the darkness comes the moon.

Then shadows flee from newfound Light,
And intellects and hearts ignite,
As from the ashes it takes flight,
The Master's stone now fully hewn."

Wandering Soul

By: Wor. Jason Eddy

I wander through the streets alone,
Tapping my cane on cobblestone,
In search of what cannot be found,
Beyond the grassy, hallowed ground,
Where deep inside a darkened grave,
A key to what no man can save,
Lies hidden far from those who seek,
To take what's promised to the meek.
And so I'll spend eternal night,
Wandering 'neath the pale moonlight.

Low Twelve

I feel the dew and blades of grass,
Beneath bare feet, it's time at last,
A token's whispered "You may pass",
As a tower at low twelve tolls.

The moon sits high, a shadow's cast,
Beneath the Tree of Life has passed,
This Seeker whose found the Path at last,
That's been lost to so many souls.

Engulfed in Light of Seekers past,
No more are eerie shadows cast,
Enlightenment has come at last,
As a tower at low twelve tolls.
